Student Comments (Spanish 101.01 – 250)

The Department of Spanish and Portuguese has been awarded numerous grants and awards for its dedication to teaching excellence. Here are a few comments that students have written on their instructors’ Student Evaluation of Instruction (SEI) forms or on the SPPO internal student evaluation of teaching forms that are administered at the end of each quarter.

Out of all my classes at Ohio State (been a lot, I’m a senior), the Spanish department has had the most passionate and prepared teachers and this (240) class is no exception.

Foreign language stopped me from getting my degree 30 years ago, and it might have again without teachers like yours.

I enjoyed the Spanish courses I took at OSU.

Great program. Bilingualism is important in the US and for my career in the medical field. I’m thinking of minoring in Spanish.
